DrivenMedia's top 'most' frequently asked questions.

 

Can I check my status? (or) I signed up but nobody has called me.

We receive thousands of new profiles making it difficult to verify each one.  We've been overwhelmed and encouraged with the exposure and your best chance to get selected for a campaign is letting us get to work with new clients.  We want to respect your need for information but every time we stop to explain the program or look up a profile is time that can be spent making new connections with brands looking for alternative ways to move their message.  If you've completed a profile and followed the instructions for building your map, you can be sure we will contact you if indeed there is a connection with a particular client.

We will be relying heavily on our web site and our Fan page on Facebook to make updates. 

 

Is this a scam?

Absolutely not.  We are a strategic media agency that takes a very deliberate approach with our campaigns.  Our campaigns consist of more than just a driver and their vehicle getting wrapped.  Our criteria is specific and we are meticulous with our client's brands, being very selective of the Brand Drivers we present them.  We're aware of a handful of sites out there that might be considered a scam by charging a fee to sign up and in some cases just providing web links to companies like DrivenMedia.  We're not affiliated with them in any way.

 

Do you have campaigns/clients in the [fill in the blank] area?

Possibly.  We're a Phoenix, Arizona based company quickly gaining interest among the national media outlets and are working daily to expand our reach and capabilities.  What this means is, not everyone signing up is getting paid to drive.    The best thing for you to do is complete the profile form and wait for us to contact you if/when there is a match.

 

Are you hiring for sales positions?

We've been particular about the growth of our model and do not want it watered down with multiple sales reps throughout the country.  However, if you have a proven media sales track record with a passion and understanding of the medium, we should probably talk.  Send a resume with your inquiry.

 

Are you looking for vehicle wrap vendors?

We are in the process of creating an affiliate program to incorporate into select regions nationally and perhaps internationally for vehicle wrap providers.  Contact us for details.

 

Why does it have to be a new car?

It doesn't but the newer the model the better.  A 1995 Corolla, while possibly in 'mint condition' is not exactly what a client wants representing their brand.  Yes, it is wrapped in graphics - but the vehicle's body style still plays a role in the display of those graphics.  Although there are some vintage vehicles that may fit well into a campaign.  One of our first campaigns involved a 1936 Ford Roadster! 

 

How do I know if my profile has been received?

The best way to verify your profile is to log back in using your email and the password you provided.  If it submitted, it'll be there. We're so swamped with calls, emails, and database queries that we're not able to return every single call to verify a profile or answer questions about the brand driver program.  We're hoping to address a number of questions at once with this list and on our FAQ page.

 

How much will I get paid?

If selected, Brand Driver compensation is based on a number of factors including length and scope of the campaign, region and vehicle type.  A general range is between $300-$500 per month.  More for higher profile vehicles and specialized engagements.

 

Why can't I get my profile submitted?

While at times in the past the system has been overloaded, we run a number of routine tests and the profile form is functioning properly.  There are several required fields noted with an asterisk (*) so if you've skipped any of those, it won't submit. Some users have experienced issues at the map building section - this area is tested regularly and we have taken steps to clarify the instructions.  When the instructions are followed, your profile should submit without issue.

 

What can I do to improve may chances of getting selected?

Other than being detailed with your profile form and map of activities, you can actually do something directly, depending on your current employer.  Explore the idea of implementing an internal campaign where employees are paid to have their own vehicle wrapped for the company with your company's human resource and/or marketing departments.  This is a component of our services too; working with clients to coordinate.  Employee Driven Details

 

When can I start a campaign?

We don't want there to be any confusion; just signing up does not assure you're going to be placed with a campaign.  Cultivating leads and building campaigns takes time and we do it well.  We're a strategic media agency, not a match maker, so our priority lies with the clients to provide the most impactful, peer-to-peer, mobile advertising solutions possible.  You just signing up is a huge part of that and we merely ask for your patience.  Checking in with a weekly email or phone call is not going to make it happen any sooner.
